Meet the Founder

My Name is Rosalee Dobbs, founder of AmuriRose Herbal Shop, and a Holistic Supplement Advisor. I grew up in a very small community in the parish of St. Elizabeth, Jamaica where the air is crisp, the rivers run deep and cool and it’s safe to set your hand and have a fresh drink from any spring within my little town.
We rely heavily upon our one little clinic which also serves adjoining communities so as a result we had to be creative and get very handy with what we call bush medicine commonly called natural herbs. My Great- Grandmother “Maria Poyser' who was an active community midwife and herbalist was who a lot of people in the community used to come to for help and treatment. It was there I developed a curiosity for its amazing wonders and healing abilities, it was customary then to go into our garden and find a plant for whatever you’d experienced pain or discomfort for.
I myself in 2010 started having an issue with chronic constipation and suffered for 3 years until I rediscovered the power of natural herbs. I then shared my story of healing with family, friends and co-workers and recommended the natural herbs but instead they wanted me to create the formula for them. This is the circumstance that sparked the idea for my business hence pushing me to dedicate my time, effort and energy into cultivating my passion which is “AmuriRose Herbal Shop" I strongly believe in nature and its numerous treatments so let’s take it back to basics with our tinctures, oils, supplements, and other essential roots and remedies.
